I am your host, Wanda Jean Lord. After 25 years experience working in Indian Country helping Tribes and Native Nonprofits I felt a need to create a place and a way for funding, grant and technical assistance & training information to be easily and readily available - and so here we are Getting Better @ Doing Good.
Some of the other 'face to face' circles I've helped create over the years have included the "Wisdom of the Giveaway" regional conference series that brought tribal leaders, nonprofits and foundations together to learn directly from one another. Helping create online learning areas for tribal gaming professionals at the National Indian Gaming Association and providing hands-on trainings to participants at Seminole Tribe's Native Learning Center, Native Americans In Philanthropy, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and to Tribes and Native Nonprofits across the country.
